Annual EV Roundup Sept. 9th!

It’s time to gather the EV community for our annual photo-op and barbecue! This year we’ll be at 300 Egan Drive, across from the JACC and Centennial Hall.

What’s so special about that spot, you might ask? That land has been purchased by Juneau District Heating. It’s slated to be the home of North America’s first district heating system powered by a seawater heat pump! Great place to celebrate renewable power!

Everyone is welcome whether you have an EV or you’re just curious.

11am – 2pm on Sat. Sept. 9 @ 300 Egan Drive

Burgers, hot dogs, and refreshments provided. Bring a condiment or side to share.

The photo will be at 1pm rain or shine.

See you there!

JEVA Resolution to CBJ

In February, JEVA sent a resolution to the City & Borough of Juneau requesting that the City expedite the electrification of its municipal fleet and that it help expand and promote Juneau as an EV community.

If you’d like to express your support for the resolution, send an email to the CBJ Assembly at BoroughAssembly@Juneau.org. You can read the full text of the resolution here.

Want to See Chargers at Fred Meyers and Costco?

Recent conversations with the manager at Fred Meyers have revealed that they are considering chargers for their parking lot.

Keep your receipt and fill out the online survey when you get home. Positive feedback makes a big impact. Tell them you want to see a charger there so you can come shopping more often!

At Costco, simply fill our a customer comment card urging them to install a charger.
